Rice Nursery & Another Experiment Set Up.

Rice nursery bed is holding water. I dug down a few feet to hit the cool consistent temps in a shady spot. I then submerged a plastic container that has holes drilled for drainage. Filled the container with good soil & places two varieties of radish & a head of lettuce inside. It is my hopes with the blocking of the sun and depth it will allow for cool weather crops to be grown. If it works small scale I will modify parts of the yard to see how it really works out.
